You overthink things long after the moment has passed.
A Metaphor a Day is a 30-day email experience designed to give you one small perspective shift each day, without adding another big thing to your already busy life.
Open the email. Read it. Reflect for a moment if you want to. Then get on with your day and notice what, if anything, starts to look different.

Day 1 begins the following day.

There is always something else to do. Another email. Another job. Someone who needs you. Something that feels more urgent.
And it is very easy to decide that understanding your own mind is something you will get to when life calms down a bit.
The problem is that life has a funny habit of filling whatever space we give it.
So I wanted to create something that does not require an empty diary, a free weekend or an impressive new routine.
Give me around two minutes a day.
I will send you one metaphor. You read it. You might see something. You might carry a sentence with you into the rest of your day. You might suddenly notice something you have been taking very seriously looks a little different.
That is enough.

No portal to remember. No workbook to finish. No catching up because you have fallen three modules behind.
I have used metaphors in my work for years because they help us step slightly outside the story we are caught in.
You might have spent days thinking about a situation, trying to solve it, understand it or get yourself into a better state of mind. Then one completely unrelated image lands and suddenly you can see your own experience with a little more space around it.
That is what these emails are here to offer.
Not answers I need you to agree with. Small doorways into a different perspective, so you can see what you see for yourself.

A smoke alarm can go off with no fire anywhere in the building, set off by nothing more than a bit of steam from the shower or toast left in too long. It is loud and urgent and, in that moment, completely unreliable as evidence of actual danger.
Fear works the same way more often than we like to admit. It can be loud, real, physical, and still not be telling you the truth about what is actually happening.
Fearless does not mean the alarm never goes off. It means the alarm does not get to run the kitchen.
Reflect: Where has fear been running the kitchen lately, even without a fire?
Hit reply and tell me what this brought up for you today.
See you in the next email.

Across the month, the metaphors gently move through the four parts of The Unrestricted Model®: SAFE, SELF, CORE and FREE.
You do not need to learn the model or remember what belongs where. The structure sits underneath the experience, helping you explore things like fear, uncertainty, overthinking, self-trust, resilience, creativity, ownership and living with less unnecessary restriction.
The point is not to become perfect at any of them.
The invitation is simply to understand your experience a little differently and notice what begins to shift when you do.
“A small insight is not a lesser version of change. Sometimes it is the very thing that changes what you see next.”

If one of the metaphors really lands, makes you laugh, irritates you, gives you an insight or leaves you with a question, hit reply.
Tell me.
I would love to hear what you are seeing as you go through the 30 days, which metaphors stay with you and what begins to look different.
You are not signing up to a faceless automated challenge. The emails are automated so they arrive reliably. The person at the other end of your reply is still me.

Day 1 begins the following day.
Around two minutes. Open the email, read the metaphor and reflect on it if you want to. There is no homework and nothing to complete afterwards.
No. There is no course portal or members area for this experience. Everything comes straight to your inbox.
Then you miss a day. Nothing has gone wrong. The email will still be sitting there when you want it. This is not something you need to keep up with perfectly.
Not at all. The metaphors are designed to stand alone. You can arrive knowing nothing about the model and simply see what each day's perspective brings up for you.
No. You might arrive because of anxiety or overwhelm, but the ideas explored across the 30 days also touch everyday life, fear, overthinking, uncertainty, self-trust, work, decisions, relationships and the ways we unintentionally restrict ourselves.
No. A Metaphor a Day is an educational, insight-based email experience introducing perspectives from The Unrestricted Model®. It is not therapy, diagnosis or medical treatment.
Thirty small invitations to stop, see something from another angle and carry that perspective back into your actual life.
