Consistency is Everything

Consistency is everything

Exploring The Three Principles with Sarie Taylor

I wanted to talk a little bit about consistency as I believe its very underrated.

We often strive for perfection in most things we do, and its inevitable that we will waver at some point because working at a fast pace, learning lots and doing all the things all at once isn’t sustainable.

Since the New Year I have been beating myself up for some bad habits and a large amount of weight gain since having my baby which was nothing to do with the baby!

I was actually the slimmest I had been for many years when having my baby, it's since I have had her and have been sleep deprived looking for energy fixes all day that I gained a large amount of weight. It doesn’t make me feel good in many different ways. The temptation in the New Year was to diet, cut out diet coke, join a gym and do everything I needed to get healthy but my wisdom was whispering to me telling me that I know how that will end! Not well!

I tend to be an all or nothing person and swing from one extreme to the other quiet often.

Through my understanding of myself from my exploration of The Three Principles, I know that in any area of my life consistency is key.

In order to be consistent I need to be realistic so I started by making myself overnight porridge oats every morning so I at least started with something good for my gut in the morning, and then didn’t give much thought to anything else. This felt achievable and not only was I loving breakfast but I was proud of myself for sticking to it. This felt easy enough to change instantly and I have been consistent as I haven’t overwhelmed myself with it and I am now a good two months into eating this each morning and still really enjoying it!

Once this became an easy habit I decided to add something else, 10k steps a day when possible. This is something I aim to do each day and when I can and when that becomes a very consistent easy habit I will consider what comes next!

Small manageable steps in the right direction.

This is also exactly why I set up my membership to help my lovely members show up for themselves consistently exploring their innate wellbeing and taking care of themselves.

Those who get the results have joined and shown up consistently for themselves and have see their lives change in so many positive ways.

It's not about cramming and learning loads about self help, its about consistency and exploration to see things from a new and fresh perspective.

This can easily be integrated into our daily lives consistently so that it just becomes natural and enjoyable with amazing changes as a side effect!

Are we overcomplicating mental health?

The continuous spiral of talking about mental illness and neglecting to discuss mental health that’s within us all!

Finding herself in a mental hospital for a month aged 22, her worst fears of going crazy had come true! Sarie truly believed she was broken for many years, and now sees that this was in part due to massively over complicating what it meant be a human being. After a long period of exploring and training as a psychotherapist, still burning out every 18 months for another ten years, Sarie finally found the answer, and now shares the surprising simplicity of it all to help others get the same relief.

Sarie has trained as a transactional analysis psychotherapist, as well as working and training in many other therapeutic disciplines, such as NLP, CBT, DBT and hypnotherapy. Sarie is also an author, celebrity coach and therapist, working with thousands of people a year, of all ages, all over the world. Her main aim is to help them really see the simplicity and beauty behind human nature, getting out of their heads and into their lives, being able to see that the inside out nature of life really is a gift. This removes limitations and stories they may hold about themselves, and as a result finding an ease and contentment in life they often never knew was possible.
