You don't need fixing, just understanding

Sarie's Thoughts·sarie taylor·Jul 17, 2025· 3 minutes
For years, I believed something was wrong with me. Every anxious spiral, every overthinking episode, every time I avoided life because I felt scared - it all felt like evidence that I was broken.

I tried everything to fix it. I read the books, listened to the podcasts, journaled until my pen ran dry. But nothing created lasting peace, because I was looking in the wrong direction.

It wasn’t until I came across the Three Principles that I started to see something different - something truly life-changing.

Anxiety Isn’t a Fault, It’s a Signal

Through the lens of the Three Principles, I began to understand that anxiety is not proof that I’m broken. It’s just what happens when I get caught up in a busy mind - in insecure thinking.

When we misunderstand our experience, we try to manage it, control it, or get rid of it. But the real power lies in seeing where it comes from.
Our feelings are a moment-to-moment reflection of our thinking. And because thought is temporary, no matter how intense the feeling, it can and will move.

Nothing to Fix, Just Something to Understand

The more I saw that I didn’t need to fix the thought - just recognise it for what it is - the less hold anxiety had on me. I stopped being afraid of my feelings. I stopped judging myself for having them.

What if your anxious thoughts aren’t telling you anything about you, but everything about where your mind is in the moment?

That realisation changes everything.

Peace Comes From Understanding, Not Effort

You don’t need affirmations, strategies, or a 5-step plan. You just need to see the truth about how experience is created.

When you understand the role of thought, you stop fearing it. And when you stop fearing it, you stop feeding it.

From there, things naturally settle. Because beneath all the mental noise, you are already okay.

You always have been.

Final Thoughts

If you’ve been living in fear of your own mind, I want you to know this: you are not broken. You’re just experiencing your thoughts.

And that means there is hope.

Inside my membership, we explore these principles together every month. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, more at peace, and more like you again, come join us.

You don’t have to do this alone.
