The Three Principles and Neurodivergence: You're Wired Differently, Not Defectively

Three Principles and neurodivergence
When it comes to conversations around ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence, we often focus so much on the brain - on wiring, traits, and diagnoses - that we forget something far more important: our essence.

Yes, your brain might be wired a little differently. Mine is too.

In fact, if I sat in front of someone with a clipboard long enough, I’ve no doubt I could walk away with a diagnosis or two! But here’s what I know deeply through the lens of the Three Principles:

Your wiring may vary, but your wellbeing is constant.

You Are Not Broken - You Are Brilliantly Made

We all have moments where stress or overstimulation pulls us into patterns. For some, that might be anxiety. For others, it could be depression. And for neurodivergent individuals, that might look like hyperfocus, sensory overwhelm, or distraction.

But those are surface-level responses - they don’t define who you are.

Beneath all of that is your unshakeable core: peace, love, wisdom.

The very same essence that everyone else has, regardless of diagnoses, traits, or how “butterfly-brained” we might feel some days (and if you know, you know!).

Adjustments Aren’t Weaknesses - They’re Wisdom

Sometimes we need to make little tweaks to help us navigate a world that wasn’t always designed with neurodivergence in mind. That’s not a flaw - it’s an act of self-compassion.

But even in the middle of overstimulation, meltdown, or distracted chaos, there’s always a thread of calm waiting underneath. You haven’t lost access to it. You never can.

Just like a beekeeper walks calmly through thousands of buzzing bees without flinching, we can learn to notice the noise without being ruled by it. The buzzing may still be there, but it doesn’t have to send us running.

You Don’t Need a Label to Know Yourself

Some people feel validated and supported by a diagnosis - and that’s beautiful. Others feel boxed in by it.

For me, I know I’ve got traits that would likely get a neat little label, but I’ve never needed that to trust myself.

Whether you feel like your brain jumps from one idea to the next, whether you need extra space and quiet, or whether you thrive in a whirlwind of creativity - it’s all welcome.

It’s all you. And none of it limits your access to insight, clarity, or peace of mind.

Let’s Talk About It Inside the Membership

On July 16th, I’m hosting a brand-new All About session inside the membership:

All About Neurodivergence and The Three Principles.
We’ll explore this in more depth - how your unique wiring fits into the understanding of the Three Principles, how to quiet the noise of external labels, and how to live with more ease, even when your brain seems to want to do ten things at once.
This session is for you if you’ve ever thought:
  • “Am I broken?”
  • “Why does my brain work differently?”
  • “Can I still access peace when I feel so overwhelmed?”
The answer is: Yes, yes, and absolutely yes.

Join me in the membership and let's have this conversation - one that’s full of understanding, laughter, and a whole lot of love.

And if you're reading this AFTER the session? Well, it's still there, waiting for you to come in and join us, ready for you to watch!

Are we overcomplicating mental health?

The continuous spiral of talking about mental illness and neglecting to discuss mental health that’s within us all!

Finding herself in a mental hospital for a month aged 22, her worst fears of going crazy had come true! Sarie truly believed she was broken for many years, and now sees that this was in part due to massively over complicating what it meant be a human being. After a long period of exploring and training as a psychotherapist, still burning out every 18 months for another ten years, Sarie finally found the answer, and now shares the surprising simplicity of it all to help others get the same relief.

Sarie has trained as a transactional analysis psychotherapist, as well as working and training in many other therapeutic disciplines, such as NLP, CBT, DBT and hypnotherapy. Sarie is also an author, celebrity coach and therapist, working with thousands of people a year, of all ages, all over the world. Her main aim is to help them really see the simplicity and beauty behind human nature, getting out of their heads and into their lives, being able to see that the inside out nature of life really is a gift. This removes limitations and stories they may hold about themselves, and as a result finding an ease and contentment in life they often never knew was possible.
